School of Finance has the key research base of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zhejiang Province and the off campus practice demonstration base for students in Zhejiang Province. It is the eighth major in China and the first one in Zhejiang Province to obtain the CFA Institute International Certification Undergraduate Program, marking that the major Finance ranks among China's first-class universities Column. In 2011, Finance was rated as the "12th Five Year Plan" advantage major of Zhejiang Province, and in 2016, it was awarded the "13th five year plan" advantage major of Zhejiang Province. According to Qiu Junping's "China University and discipline professional evaluation and consultation report 2016-2017", financial majors ranked 29/429 in the country, entering the top 7% of the country, ranking first in similar majors of Zhejiang provincial universities.

There are 5 doctoral supervisors, 16 professors and 19 associate professors in the doctoral program. 36 teachers have doctoral degrees, and some of them have overseas study background. Among the teachers in our School, there are 1 new century excellent talent from the Ministry of education, 1 young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contribution from Zhejiang Province, 7 candidates for the "151 talent project" of Zhejiang Province, 1 "five batch" talent from the Provincial Publicity and culture system, 3 young and middle-aged discipline leaders from provincial universities, 3 famous teachers from Zhejiang Province , and 2 young social science scholars from "Zhijiang" of Zhejiang Province.

School of Finance has scientific research cooperation with Hangzhou Central Branch of the People's Bank of China, strategic cooperation and practice base with CITIC Securities and Bank of Hangzhou.

四、教学形式 Teaching Methods

所有课程均使用英语作为教学语言。

All professional courses are English-instructed .

五、课程设置 Course Arrangement

本专业学分设置为14学分。

The credits for this program are set to 14 credits.

The course is divided into four modules:

1、Degree courses：Advanced Macroeconomics, Advanced Microeconomics, Advanced Econometrics;

2、Compulsory courses：Chinese language and the outline of China, etc.;

3、Elective courses：Corporate Finance, International Finance, China’s Financial Policies, etc.;

4、Academic activities：PhD students should actively participate in various academic conferences and activities in domestic and abroad.

六、学位论文 Dissertation

学位论文在导师的指导下由研究生本人独立完成。中期考核合格后，可进入学位论文撰写阶段，博士研究生课程在修完规定学分，

After finishing the required credits and passing the mid-term assessment, the doctoral program can enter the dissertation writing stage. Under the guidance of the tutor, the dissertation is completed by the graduate students themselves.

七、毕业与学位申请 Graduation and Degree Application

博士生按规定完成要求后，将授予应用经济学博士学位。

The doctoral students will be awarded a doctor Degree in Economics after completing the requirements.
