To enable international students to deeply understand the developmental achievements of Zhejiang and profoundly comprehend the rich connotations and the era's value of the Eight-Eight Strategies, on the morning of November 11, the College of International Education organized a group of international students to visit the Zhejiang Exhibition Hall to view the The Path of Greatness - Celebrating 20 Years of Implementing the 'Eight-Eight Strategies' major thematic exhibition.
This exhibition was divided into two main sections: a comprehensive exhibition area and a regional exhibition area. The comprehensive exhibition area focused on presenting the proposal, implementation, and significant importance of the Eight-Eight Strategies. It showcased the practical journey of Xi Jinping's thoughts on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era in Zhejiang, vividly displaying the remarkable transformation that has occurred in all areas of Zhejiang over the past 20 years. The regional exhibition area concentrated on displaying the vibrant practical results of the faithful implementation of the Eight-Eight Strategies by the 11 cities of Zhejiang Province, following the earnest instructions of President XI.
An exhibition area of 4,500 square meters, with a grand red background, just like Zhejiang's 20 years of vigorous development. Students walked through a time-space corridor made up of texts, photos, videos, and physical models, experiencing the profound changes that the Eight-Eight Strategies have brought to Zhejiang.
During the visit, the lead teacher briefly introduced the background and significance of the Eight-Eight Strategies, helping students better understand the content of the exhibition. Subsequently, under the guidance of professional interpreters, the students visited various parts of the exhibition, including thematic areas of economic development, technological innovation, social progress, and cultural exchange. The students actively asked questions and engaged in various cultural experiences throughout the exhibition.
Through this event, international students not only gained a deeper understanding of the 'Eight-Eight Strategies', but also acquired a more vivid comprehension of Zhejiang's development path.
