Recently, 2023 “Experiencing China · Meeting ZJSU” Short Video Competition of Zhejiang Gongshang University came to a successful end. A total of 11 contestants stood out and won the honor.
At the award ceremony held on the afternoon of the 15th, Pei Bei, Dean of College of International Education congratulated the winners and presented the awards in person. Dean affirmed and encouraged the works of all the contestants, and expressed appreciation for their creativity and efforts. She pointed out that these short video works not only demonstrated the international students' love for Chinese culture and passion for university life, but also conveyed a positive spirit and optimistic attitude towards life, injecting new vitality and positive energy into ZJSU.
This competition is a grand event for international students to perceive China and spread positive energy through the camera. Their works all show the real and vivid life episodes to express their sentiments and thoughts about studying and living in ZJSU. Although students have left their hometown and stepped out of their comfort zone, they have actively overcome the differences in language, culture, life and other aspects and actively integrated into Chinese society.
College of International Education will always adhere to the student-centered approach, providing sufficient humanistic care to international students, creating a good educational and management atmosphere, so as to enhance the recognition, satisfaction, and reputation of international students towards ZJSU. This event not only provides a platform for international students to showcase themselves, but also lets more people know and pay attention to the international education of ZJSU, promoting the exchange and integration between international students and Chinese culture, and deepening the perception and understanding of Chinese culture. Under the guidance of the university, international students will thrive in this vibrant and passionate campus, and contribute more to the construction and development of internationalization of ZJSU.
