In the 2023 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit, there is a special volunteer Margushina Aleksandra. She is from Russia with blond hair and a pair of gold-rimmed glasses, majoring in Chinese language and literature in Zhejiang Gongshang University. She is outgoing and fluent in Chinese, serving as a volunteer in the Guest Liaison Service Team of the Internet Conference. Because of her dedicated attitude and professional spirit, she has been reported by lots of major medias.

One minute on stage, ten years off. Margushina Aleksandra has always been working hard during three years’ study in Zhejiang Gongshang University. She not only ranked first in her class in academic performance and got the provincial government scholarship, but also actively participated in activities related to practice, combining knowledge with practice and actively spreading Chinese culture.
Margushina Aleksandra enrolled in 2020 while she was in Russia and unable to travel to China to study. Despite facing great difficulties, she overcame them. Due to the 5-hour time difference between Russia and China, she had to wake up at 5 in the morning for online classes. At one point during this period, she considered giving up, but ultimately persevered.
She said:" Due to the epidemic, I can't go to beautiful Hangzhou to start my wonderful study life, and regrettably missed out some wonderful experience. But whatever, I cannot just wasted three years of time.” So she adjusted herself quickly, and wholeheartedly went into the online Chinese and college preparatory courses.
"In order to master Chinese as soon as possible, I really tried my utmost to study. Start with spelling, then tone, and then write Chinese characters. I start with the basics and write a word at least twenty or thirty times."
"Passing multiple Chinese proficiency exams level by level, I have passed HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) level 5 by 2022. I also got excellent performance in my courses with full of accomplishment. I am pretty sure that I have become more mature and stronger!"

After serving the 2023 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit, Margushina Aleksandra is still full of enthusiasm. She said that attending the summit is of great significance and great harvest. She also said she will continue to study hard and get better grades. In the future, she hopes she can have more opportunities to participate in more meaningful activities on behalf of Zhejiang Gongshang University and her country, and contribute her strength to the friendship between China and Russia.
