Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship 同类内容

I. Introduction

For the purpose of attracting more international students and scholars to study and engage in scientific research in universities and colleges of Zhejiang Province, improving the level of international students and the quality of international education, as well as promoting international students' understanding of and friendship with Zhejiang, the Zhejiang Provincial Government established this scholarship program in 2009. 对照阅读

II. Qualified Applicants

Foreign doctoral candidates, master's candidates, and undergraduates who are applying for studying or have been studying in ZJSU and long-term students who have been studying in ZJSU for one or more semesters. 对照阅读

III. Types of Scholarship

Note: The specific types and quotas of scholarships shall be subject to the annual notice issued by the higher-level administrative department.

IV. Application Eligibility

1. Basic conditions:

1.1 For undergraduate programs, applicants should be holders of a high school certificate and be no more than 30 years old.

1.2 For master's degree programs, applicants should be holders of a bachelor's degree or equivalent educational attainment and be no more than 35 years old, and recommendation letters from two professors or associate professors are required.

1.3 For PHD programs, applicants should be holders of a master's degree or equivalent educational attainment and be no more than 40 years old, and recommendation letters from two professors or associate professors are required.

2. Other conditions:

2.1 Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens, holders of a foreign passport, friendly with China and in good physical condition.

2.2 Applicants should behave well, and have no records of violating ZJSU's discipline and laws and regulations of China.

2.3 Applicants should have corresponding Chinese language proficiency and submit proof documents like HSK certificate or other certificates related to Chinese language learning and examinations. This term can be eased for certain programs taught in English.

2.4 Applicants who are freshmen should have excellent academic performance in the pre-education stage. Applicants who are studying in ZJSU should have outstanding academic performance in their grade or class in the year of Scholarship evaluation. If a student fails or is absent from the final examination, the student is not eligible to apply for the scholarship in the corresponding academic year.

2.5 Applicants should not be beneficiaries of any other Chinese government scholarships and other scholarships.

V. Application Procedures

Please log in the Online Application System of Zhejiang Gongshang University（hzic.at0086.cn/student).

Step one: finish the major application; fill in the forms and upload the following required documents in clear scanned copies, then submit.

Step two: please choose Chinese Local Government Scholarship→ Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship-Type A (for master’s and doctoral applicants) / Type B (for bachelor’s applicants)/ Type C (for long-term program applicants)/ The Sspecial Sscholarship to finish the scholarship application.

1. Application Form for International Admission;

2. Notarized highest degree certificate(new student) and academic transcripts;

3. Photocopy of passport;

4. Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form(new student);

5. Two letters of recommendation written and signed by professors or associate.

VI. Application Results

ZJSU will review and evaluate the scholarship applications of the admitted students. The scholarship recipients will be notified by email and SMS in the online application system normally on July or August of the current year.

VII. Other Instructions

1. This scholarship is applied for once per academic year. International students who have excellent academic performance, good performances in other aspects in the previous academic year, and meet the requirements of scholarship can submit applications annually.
